With Peers, PLL Member Collin Goldbach 3D Prints Medical Equipment

A group of students at the University of St. Thomas are using the school’s 3D printers to turn out personal protective equipment (PPE) in response to the medical community’s need for supplies. Among the students is PLL member Collin Goldbach. “I recently applied to graduate school, and on all of my cover letters I said that I’m a person who believes if you have an opportunity to help, you have a duty to,” Collin said. He and his peers saw the opportunity to meet a need and are working to fill it, corresponding with medical professionals about what they need most.
