PLL project

the PLAYground

the PLAYground is our 8-week virtual summer camp for K-8 students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Each week, the campers receive a themed box of activities and materials. PLL camp counselors (along with interpreters and staff from Metro Deaf School and community volunteers) host virtual check-ins on weekdays. Establishing the PLL Lab rules (be kind, clean up your messes, and play well with others) as part of the camp, we designed the camp to foster community and continued learning. the PLAYground continues to grow as a collection of activities for young students.
